Hi, we are currently working on a project where we need to be able add a mask on top of the camera feed, like we previously did with 1.4 also we are looking into the possibility to “skip” points or shape our calibration grid into a circular shape, as the shape we are projecting on is round and not rectangular and prevents us from calibrating the corner points. Do you guys know of a solution for this? My plans are, from bottom to top: - lower wood panel - backlight from the LCD TV - around it and/or on the sides IR LEDs - 2 IR cameras, each dealing with half the screen - a plexiglass frame - the LCD - a thin glass frame to protect LCD In addition a number of white LEDs on the sides to compensate the backlight distance.

My questions: - what materials to use to “smooth” infrareds? In our existing table we tested various bluring surfaces around IR LEDs and it makes a better illumination (less reflections on glass, more uniform IR light), but I don't know what are the best materials to use for that - should I add a diffuse surface beetween plexiglass and LCD (like tracing paper)? It may help to get a more uniform light in visible spectrum, but it also may disturb IR, leading to less precise spots from cams point of view - does OpenCV handles treating images from 2 cameras or should I work on a dedicated code? But when I press enter opens the calibration part, there the problems begin. I can’t get a good calibration, because the mouse is moved only by an area of the window, unlike the touchpad (box) that detects fine finger. I think this is the problem, the mouse pointer should be able to reach all points of calibration and does not.

What am I doing wrong? Even with a bad calibration I can run the Demo but programs correctly and that would not be good. Can you help me? This sometimes happens after 5 minutes from starting the PC, or it can also run perfect for hours and then suddenly happen.

We have tried to completely have the entire system shut off for hours (turn off all power from the wall) and the issue still returns. This makes me think that its not related to the hardware overheating. I have heard that this issue is known but i can’t find anything on it.

I’m not sure if its related to our custom ccv software, cameras or extenders. After the fps drops to 1, we close ccv and launch CL eye Test and it looks visually fine (30+fps) and normal movement. But I am only able to view one cam with this app (we are using 4 for this project). Also the extenders, PC, power supply for the PC are all turned off every day to keep them from overworking. The extenders are near a fan and not warm when touched. The 1fps seems to sporadically happen, sometimes after a few minutes, sometime after 6 hours.

Once it does happen, we have resolve by doing the following: - Restart of CCV (custom version, called “trackMotion” built by us) if this does not resolve: - Restart of the PC We need the system to work at a stable state for at least 6-8 hours. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
