Am I correct in stating that you cannot update the firmware on the RNS315? Next, the only way to update the sat nav maps is to buy an SD card from VW? I do not trust the local VW dealers, so can anyone tell me what is the latest version number of the maps. I would like to double check I am buying the latest version of maps, not an old one they need to get rid of. Thanks for the information, I have rung round a couple of VW dealers & the map updates are £145.00 including VAT. This is for version 7. I wonder how often the updates come out?
